For Sellers & For Buyers
DropBid uses DHL Express for international shipping. Below are instructions for both sellers and buyers.
For Sellers
1. Complete your profile
Before listing an item, add your full street address, city, postal code, and country to your profile. This is used as the DHL pickup address for all your shipments.
2. List the item
Enter accurate package weight (kg) and dimensions (cm) when creating your listing. These details determine the shipping cost estimate shown to buyers.
3. Item sold — create the shipment
Once a buyer wins and pays, go to My Listings and click Create DHL Shipment. The system automatically generates a DHL shipping label and tracking number.
4. Print the label
Download the PDF label from your listing. Print it and attach it securely to the outside of the package.
5. Book a DHL pickup
You must book the courier pickup yourself — the system does not auto-book a pickup. Schedule a pickup through DHL:

If a courier pickup is not convenient, drop the labeled package at your nearest DHL Service Point:
7. Track the shipment & get paid
Tracking is automatic. The buyer receives status updates, and you receive your payout as soon as DHL confirms delivery — no action needed from you.
For Buyers
1. Win an auction & pay
Once you win an auction, proceed to checkout and pay. The DHL shipping cost is included in the total.
2. Enter your delivery address
Provide your full street address, postal code, city, and country at checkout. This is where DHL will deliver your item.
3. Track your order
You will receive email updates as the shipment moves. You can also track manually using the tracking number on the DHL tracking page:
4. Collect from a DHL Service Point
If you prefer to collect your package rather than receive home delivery, share the nearest Service Point with the seller:
5. Disputes
If there is a problem with the delivery, contact support within 48 hours of the delivery confirmation.
